What is E-Periscope

E-Periscope is the new quarterly regional bulletin of economic news about Italy and its regions, written exclusively in English and published by The Regional Chambers of Commerce (Unioncamere Piemonte).
The title evokes the power of exploration and the increase in knowledge that stems from bottom-up observation. The newsletter aims to provide orientation in the markets of Piemonte and elsewhere, pointing out opportunities and new challenges.

E-Periscope examines international, Italian and regional economic data and statistics, accompanied by a regional marketing section with news for business: new investments, commercial agreements, regional incentives and regulations, information linked to technological innovation and international highlights from the various Chambers of Commerce.

E-Periscope, produced with the contribution of Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit Private Banking and in collaboration with the Ordine dei Dottori commercialisti and degli Esperti Contabili (Chartered Accountants Association) of Ivrea-Pinerolo-Torino and with Piemonte's Regional Commission of ABI, the Italian Banking Association, is aimed in particular at foreign investors and businesses in Piemonte, as well as foreign professors and professionals who work in Piemonte or who have relations with companies in the region.
The bulletin is available both on paper and on line: the Internet site www.e-periscope.eu provides further background on the issues tackled. The site aims to be an active place for the exchange of ideas and views, as each article is associated with a "virtual blackboard" where readers can write their comments, suggestions and opinions.
